Deleting a Free plan account
If you are on a Free plan, you can delete your account immediately:
- Go to Settings and open the General tab.
- Find the Delete Account option on this page and click Delete.
- Type Delete in the confirmation box and click Delete to complete the process.
Deleting a Pro plan account

If you are on a Pro plan, you must first complete additional steps before deleting your account:
- Cancel your subscription
- Delete team members
- Remove connected channels
- Request the wallet refund
To delete your account:
- Go to Settings and open the General tab.
- Find the Delete Account option on this page and click Delete.
- The pop-up window opens, where you will be asked to complete additional steps. The deletion window is dynamic and will display only the actions that still need to be completed. As you complete each step, the corresponding item will disappear from the list.
- First, you need to cancel your subscription. Use the provided link or check out the article How to cancel your Manychat Pro subscription for more details. Note that you must wait until your subscription has expired before you can proceed with deleting your account.
- Next, you’ll have to delete team members. Click the provided link and delete each user individually by first clicking on the Edit button next to their names and then clicking Remove.
- Remove connected channels. Click on each of the channels’ names in the list and then click Remove.
- Request wallet refund. Follow the instructions listed to complete this step.
- Once you have followed all the steps, type Delete in the confirmation box and click Delete to complete the process.
Recovery
Deleted accounts cannot be restored. All data, automations, settings, and connected resources are permanently removed.
Data deletion requests
If you no longer plan to use Manychat and want your data permanently deleted, submit a data deletion request by clicking Privacy & Security at the following link.
Note that this process permanently removes your account and user information and cannot be used as a troubleshooting step.
