Keeping your Manychat account organized is essential, and removing templates you no longer need is a quick and easy way to do it. Whether you're clearing out unused templates or making space for new ones, the process is simple and straightforward.

Checking installed templates
To view your installed templates:
- Navigate to Settings > Installed Templates.
- Here, you'll see a list of all templates installed on your account, including their Name and Installed by details (showing which account admin added them).
Deleting/uninstalling a template
To delete a template:
- Click on the template you want to remove to open it.
- In the top-right corner, click the three dots icon.
- From the menu, click the red bin icon labeled Uninstall.
When uninstalling a template, a pop-up window will appear explaining how this action affects your account:
- All main account content created by the template will be deleted.
- Automations linked to template workflows will stop working. You’ll need to redesign these automations manually.
- This action cannot be undone! Ensure you truly want to delete the template before proceeding.
⚠️ When uninstalling, you’ll see options to save or delete additional template content.
- Contact data: If you collected contact data through the template, it will also be removed unless you choose to keep it. Be sure to download a CSV of system or custom user fields if you need them. For more information, please refer to the article How to export contacts' data.
- Main Menu reset: If you delete the Main Menu, it will be fully reset, and you’ll need to create a new one from scratch.
After selecting the options that suit your needs, click Uninstall. The template will then be removed from your list.
