If the issue still persists
If the issue persists after completing all the above-mentioned troubleshooting steps, you might need to reset Facebook permissions for Manychat. To do this, switch to your personal Facebook profile, go to your Business Integrations, click View and edit next to Manychat, and toggle off all the options. Then, you will need to return to your Manychat account and refresh permissions.

Other known issues and limitations
- If you assign a new Facebook Business page to your Instagram account, your Instagram automations in Manychat will stop working. To restore functionality, you'll need to contact our Support Team to reconnect the Instagram account on our end. This applies only to Instagram accounts connected through the old Instagram connection (before June 14, 2024).
- Instagram automations currently limit text blocks with buttons to 640 characters and text blocks without buttons to 1000 characters. Exceeding these limits will prevent you from publishing your flow.
- If your automated message is sent in separate chunks of text on Instagram, remember that Instagram text messages must be UTF-8 and within the 1000-byte limit, including both text and media files. URLs in the text must also be valid and properly formatted.
- User input prefills (such as prefilled email or phone number options in a Messenger dialogue) do not appear on Instagram. This is a known limitation of the Meta API.
If you've followed all the troubleshooting steps and are still encountering issues, please contact our Support Team.
