In this article, you will learn how to activate a 14-day free trial or renew your subscription.
How to start with a free trial
If you're just getting started with Manychat, our trial is a perfect way to test drive all of Manychat Pro features for free for 14 days. Pro features include the ability to collect email addresses, connect your ads to a flow, and more!
⚠️ Please note that you can only manage your subscription on the website; this option is not available through the mobile app.
In your Manychat account, select Activate Pro Trial from the notification, or go to Settings → Billing to activate it.
The Marketing Automation plan is added automatically, as it enables you to build automations and engage with your customers - for example, by automatically responding to comments on your Instagram posts. To learn more about the Manychat Pro plan, check out our Billing FAQ.
At this step, you can also add other products, such as the Manychat AI add-on or Manychat Inbox.
⚠️ The Manychat AI add-on is not included in the free trial. If you add it at this step and proceed, you will be billed immediately without the option to start with the free trial.
If you have a coupon, now is the perfect time to apply it! You can enter it here:
Click Start Pro for Free and complete the process by entering your billing information:
⚠️ Once the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the next month of the Pro subscription unless you cancel.
How to renew your subscription
If you previously had a Pro subscription but your account is now on the Free plan, click Renew Subscription from the notification or go to Settings → Billing:
Here you can add other products, such as the Manychat AI add-on or Manychat Inbox.
Click Subscribe and finish the process by entering your billing information:
Error “You have insufficient rights to manage page billing. Please reach out to one of the page administrators”
If you click Renew Subscription in the notification and see the message “You have insufficient rights to manage page billing. Please reach out to one of the page administrators”, this indicates that you don’t have billing permissions. In this case, the Billing tab will also be unavailable to you.
If you don’t see the Billing tab in your settings, please ask the Manychat account Owner or an Admin to grant you billing permissions.
They can do this by navigating to Settings → Team Members → clicking Edit next to the team member's name → and toggling Has permissions in the Billing section.
