Connecting your TikTok account to Manychat allows you to engage with your followers more effectively by automating responses, managing direct messages, and creating interactive experiences. This simple guide will walk you through the steps to integrate TikTok with Manychat.
⚠️ Important information before you start
- TikTok integration with Manychat is currently in beta, offering a focused set of functionalities.
- To connect TikTok to Manychat, you need a business TikTok account. Creator or personal accounts cannot be connected at this time. Refer to this step-by-step guide to switch to a business account.
- TikTok's open beta features a geographic-based rollout. Users located in the EU, USA, and UK are currently unable to connect their TikTok accounts to Manychat. Unfortunately, there is no estimated timeline for when this feature will be available in these regions.
- You can send up to 10 messages within 48 hours of the last user interaction, without needing a response from the contact. Once the 48-hour window expires, re-engagement with your audience will no longer be possible unless initiated by the user.
- TikTok does not support clickable links and buttons yet, but this feature is expected to be available soon. For the best user experience, include links in a separate message node. This way, they are sent as standalone messages, making them easier for contacts to copy.
- TikTok channel does not support GIFs or stickers in Manychat. While these are not displayed in Manychat Live Chat, you can still view them directly in your TikTok inbox.
- TikTok API does not support comments to DM at this time.
- While the Manychat mobile app allows you to connect a TikTok account, its functionality is limited. For the best experience, we recommend using the desktop version for configuration and management.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TikTok integration, first try to refresh permissions by going to Settings > TikTok and clicking Refresh Permissions:
If you see an unexpected message that you didn’t set up in Manychat, it’s probably coming from TikTok’s automatic responses (if they’re enabled). These automatic replies can disrupt Manychat’s automation.
To resolve this, check your TikTok Business Suite settings to ensure no auto-replies or messaging setups conflict with Manychat. Here's how:
Open your TikTok account and click the hamburger menu in the upper-right corner.
Select Business Suite, then navigate to Message Center.
Ensure all automatic messaging options are disabled.
