DeepSeek is an advanced AI tool that supercharges your marketing with intelligent and accurate human-like responses. With natural language processing technology, it can help automate and enhance customer interactions by delivering more personalized experiences. Our native integration allows sending requests to DeepSeek directly from your Automation. Let’s explore how to do it in the step-by-step guide below.
How to integrate your DeepSeek account with Manychat
Step 1: Go to the DeepSeek website and sign in or create an account.
Step 2: Generate your API Key by going to the API keys tab and clicking the Create new API Key button.
Once created, copy the API key.
⚠️ Make sure to save the key somewhere safe, as you won’t be able to view it later. If you lose this API key, you'll need to generate a new one.
Step 3: Go to Manychat and proceed to Settings > Integrations. Paste the secret key into the corresponding window, and press the Connect DeepSeek Account button.
How to use DeepSeek integration in Manychat
Step 1: Go to the Automation tab and create a new automation.
💡 Don’t forget to add a trigger to it.
Step 2: Create a content node that includes a Data Collection Block. This block will receive requests from your contacts for DeepSeek.
💡 Optionally, you can save the request into a Custom User Field.
Step 3: Add an Action block and set up the DeepSeek action.
Select the DeepSeek model in the setup window.
You can make a request to DeepSeek by providing your own prompt for the AI.
Set the Last Text input field. It will contain the very last message sent by the contact.
Specify the custom field where Manychat will store a response from DeepSeek.
💡 You can also use advanced settings like Maximum tokens and Temperature. Maximum tokens define the maximum length of the generated message, while temperature sets the amount of randomness in it. Values closer to 0.0 are recommended for analytical or multiple-choice tasks and closer to 2.0 for creative and generative tasks.
Step 4: Create a reply message by inserting the custom user field with DeepSeek's response into a Text block.
Step 5: This is how our automation looks in Manychat. Don’t forget to publish it by pressing the Set Live button.
And this is how it looks in Messenger.
