Building content and running automations is one thing — knowing what's actually working is another. Analytics brings your Instagram performance data into Manychat, so you can see how your content and automations are driving results without jumping between tools.
From one dashboard, track how many automations are running, how many messages they're sending, and how many new contacts you're gaining — all tied back to the specific posts that triggered it.
| ⚠️ Analytics is currently in beta and is not available to all accounts yet. It covers Instagram only and combines your Instagram performance data with your Manychat automation stats. Because data syncs periodically, some numbers may differ from what you see in Instagram Insights. |
Who can use it
Analytics is available only on paid Manychat plans. Access is rolling out gradually as part of the beta — if you don't see the Analytics tab in your sidebar, your account hasn't been included yet. Eligible accounts are added automatically over time.
Access Analytics
- Log in to your Manychat account.
- Click Analytics in the left sidebar.
💡 If you see the Analytics tab but your stats are empty, connect your Instagram account to Manychat to start tracking your performance.
What you'll find in Analytics
Your performance at a glance
At the top of the page, three summary cards give you a quick snapshot of what's happening across your account:
- Automations Running — how many automations are active during the selected period
- Automation Sends — the total number of messages your automations have sent
- Contacts Captured — how many new contacts you've gained through your automations
Each card shows a percentage change so you can see whether things are trending up or down compared to the previous period.
Use the time range selector in the top-right corner to switch between the last 7, 14, or 30 days.
Content leaderboard
The Content leaderboard is where it gets useful. It lists your Instagram posts and shows how each one performs — both as content and as an automation trigger — so you can see exactly which posts are doing the heavy lifting.
Each row shows:
- Content — the post thumbnail and title, with a label for its type (e.g., IG Reel)
- Post Date — when the content was published
- Reach — how many unique accounts saw the post
- Engagement — how many interactions the post received. That includes likes, shares, comments, and saves.
- Automation Sends — how many automation messages that post triggered
- Automation CTR — the click-through rate on messages sent through the linked automation
- Contacts Captured — how many new contacts came in through the automation linked to this post
💡 Click View at the end of any row to open that post's automation directly in the Flow Builder and make changes on the spot.
Use the two dropdowns above the leaderboard to narrow down what you see:
- All types — filter by content format: IG Reel, IG Carousel, IG Post, or IG Story
- All statuses — filter by whether content has an automation attached
