In this article, you will learn how to manage your Manychat Wallet balance for mail and WhatsApp message templates, including adding funds, setting up auto-refill, and checking balance usage.
How the Manychat Wallet works
The Manychat Wallet balance is used for sending emails and WhatsApp Message Templates, as these are billed separately from the Manychat PRO subscription.
⚠️ Note: The Manychat Wallet balance cannot be used for managing your PRO subscription.
💡 The Manychat Wallet is accessible only if WhatsApp or email channels are connected in your Manychat account.
We provide a set number of free emails each month based on your PRO account plan: up to 500 contacts = 5,000 free emails per month, up to 5,000 contacts = 50,000 free emails per month, and so on.
If you use up your free emails, you’ll be charged $0.003 per email from your Wallet balance.
To learn about WhatsApp pricing, check our WhatsApp pricing guide.
The system automatically checks your balance before sending each email or WhatsApp message template and deducts funds only after it is sent. If your balance falls below the cost of a single email or WhatsApp message template, any associated automations will be paused.
We will notify you when your balance is too low to send messages. To ensure uninterrupted messaging, we recommend monitoring your balance and enabling the auto-refill option to keep your campaigns running smoothly.
Adding funds to your balance
Setting up auto-refill
By default, auto-refill is disabled. We recommend enabling the auto-refill option for your balance to ensure that every email or WhatsApp message template is sent and your broadcasts are not interrupted due to insufficient funds.
💡 If you don’t see the Billing tab in your settings, please ask the Manychat account owner or admins to grant you the billing permissions. They can do it in Settings → Team Members → Billing → toggle Has permissions:
To activate auto-refill, go to Settings → Billing, scroll down to the Wallet section, and click Activate:
You can set the amount that will be automatically charged to your billing card when your balance falls below a specified threshold, as well as the threshold amount itself.
You can also set a daily limit for refills. This limit ensures that your account will not be charged more than your specified amount in a single day, providing budget control.
Click Update Refill Settings to save your new settings.
Once you finish the process, you will see On next to Autorefill in your Wallet settings, indicating that auto-refill is active:
You can change the auto-refill settings or disable it at any time.
To disable auto-refill, click Configure, uncheck Auto-Refill Enabled, and then click Update Refill Settings:
Adding one-time payments
If you choose not to use auto-refill, you can make one-time payments. Click Add Funds in the balance section and enter the desired amount:
After confirming by clicking Add Funds to Balance, the amount will be automatically charged to your card and added to your balance:
