Buttons are a great way to enhance engagement and guide your contacts through your automation. This article will show you how to add buttons and explain the available button types and their functionalities.
How to add a button to a block
You can add buttons in the following blocks:
- Text blocks: available for Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, and WhatsApp
- Card and Gallery blocks: available for Messenger and Instagram
Choose a block where you want to add a button and click + Add Button. Each button requires a name, which must be under 20 characters, and you can include emojis and variables.
To add additional buttons, click + Add Button again. To remove a button, click on it and select Remove:
Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp text blocks can include up to three buttons, while Telegram text blocks support up to 10 buttons.
Make sure to add the next block that will trigger after the contact clicks on a button.
Button types
Available button types depend on the connected channels and the channel of the text block where the button is being added. For example, when adding a button to an Instagram block, the Call Number button won’t be available, as this option is exclusive to Messenger.
