The Manychat Mobile App is designed to manage your automation and conversations on the go. While it provides quick access to essential features, some functionalities are only available through the web version.

Below is a breakdown of the available features and current limitations in the mobile app.
Accessing your accounts
Tap the profile icon in the upper left corner of the screen to:
- Switch between all your connected Manychat accounts.
- Access your Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Log Out options.
- View the app version currently installed.
Important: "Permanently Delete Profile"
- A Manychat Profile is a user identity that exists without any connected channels (e.g., no Instagram or Facebook connected).
- A Manychat Account is created when a user connects at least one messaging channel to their Manychat workspace.
If you click on “Permanently Delete Profile”, you’ll be redirected to submit a GDPR deletion request. This request will:
- Permanently delete your Manychat user profile.
- Revoke all sign-in credentials (you will not be able to use the same login options again).
Please use this option with caution.
Navigation tabs in the Mobile App
At the bottom of the mobile app interface, you’ll find four navigation tabs:
Home
- Displays a snapshot of your workspace.
- View recent automations and start new ones.
- Access promotional banners and feature updates.
Live Chat
- Respond to messages in real-time: Open your Inbox to chat with customers from your connected channels (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.).
- Conversation filters: Filter by Open or Closed status to stay organized and quickly find important threads.
- Search functionality: Search conversations by keyword, contact name, or tag for faster access.
- Assign conversations: Delegate messages to team members to improve response times and collaboration.
Contacts
- View a list of contacts who have interacted with your bot.
- Tap into a contact profile to view tags, custom fields, and conversation history.
- Note: Contact creation, deletion, and import actions are not available on mobile.
Automation
- Access your automation library: View and manage flows that were originally created on desktop.
- Edit existing flows: Make changes to your current flows to keep them updated and optimized.

Instagram flow creation: You can create new flows directly from the mobile app for Instagram automations like Story replies, Comment Auto-Replies, and Quick DM flows.

These tabs help you handle lightweight management tasks and monitor ongoing automation — while more advanced configurations still require the web version.
Settings and resources
Tapping the hamburger menu (☰) in the top right corner of the Home tab opens the Settings panel, where users can access account settings:
- Channels: View and manage connected platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp).
- Notifications: Customize mobile notification preferences.

Live Chat behavior: Access options related to your inbox experience.
This panel centralizes basic account and support access, but note that advanced settings (such as channel reconnects, integrations, or user roles) remain web-only.
Limitations of the Manychat Mobile App
The Manychat mobile app is designed for on-the-go access to essential features, such as Live Chat and automation monitoring. However, certain advanced capabilities are only available through the web version. Below is a summary of actions currently not supported in the mobile app.
Automation and flow builder
- New flow creation is limited to Instagram flows only.
- Flows built via the web can be opened and edited, but cannot be created from scratch on mobile (except for Instagram).
Billing and subscription management
- Subscription changes, including cancellations, upgrades, or renewals, must be completed via the web version.
- For assistance with billing, please submit a support request as described in the How to get support from Manychat article.
Permissions and integrations
- The Refresh Permissions feature, used to reconnect Instagram or Facebook accounts, is not available in the mobile app.
- The integrations cannot be accessed or configured.
- Account-level actions such as cloning workspaces or importing automation templates are not supported.
Contact and user management
- Contact deletion is not available in the mobile app.
- Contact imports must be performed from the web version.
- Changes to the verified email address associated with the user profile can only be made on desktop.
Settings and display options
- The mobile Settings menu includes only a limited subset of workspace and account settings.
- The Display section, which manages visual customization and persistent UI settings, is not accessible via the app.
- The following features are restricted to the web:
- Managing user roles and permissions.
- Configuring account-level settings.
- Reconnecting or removing channels.
- Adding a sign-in option.
The Manychat mobile app offers quick access to key features for managing your automation and conversations on the go. However, we recommend using the Manychat web version for more advanced configuration, workspace management, and integrations.
