Plans and features
The Manychat mobile app offers three plans: Free, Essential, and Pro. Whether you're just starting out or managing a fast-growing audience, there's a plan for you.

Just getting started? The Free plan lets you explore Manychat at no cost. Set up your first automations, connect your channels, and see what's possible before committing to anything.

| ⚠️ A "Powered by Manychat" message appears when you first contact someone. Upgrade to a paid plan to remove it. |

FAQ
How do I know if I subscribed through the app or the website?
Check where you made your purchase. If you subscribed inside the Manychat mobile app, your subscription was processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you subscribed on manychat.com, you have a web subscription. You can verify this by checking your Apple Account for an active Manychat subscription, or if you are on Android, you can check it in your Google Play Store account.
Where and how do I manage my subscription, payment method, and cancellation?
Subscription management depends on your platform. iOS subscribers manage everything — including payment method changes and cancellations — through the Apple App Store. To cancel, go to your Apple Account subscription settings and cancel from there. Android subscribers manage their subscription, payment method, and cancellationsin the Google Play Store. Either way, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and will not renew after that.
Can I switch from a mobile subscription to a web subscription?
Yes, but not right away. Cancel your mobile subscription first — iOS users through the Apple App Store, Android users directly in the Manychat app — and wait until the current billing period fully ends. Once it does, go to manychat.com and purchase a new subscription there. The switch does not happen automatically, and support cannot transfer your subscription between platforms.
What happens if I have a monthly vs. annual subscription when switching?
Either way, you need to wait until the current billing period ends before purchasing a web subscription. For monthly subscribers, that means waiting until the end of the current month. For annual subscribers, that means waiting until the end of the current annual term.
Why are WhatsApp, Email, and SMS not available on my plan?
These channels are not available on mobile in-app subscriptions. This applies both inside the Manychat app and on the web for as long as your account is on a mobile subscription, regardless of platform.
What channels are available on each mobile plan?
Each mobile plan gives you access to Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok, and Telegram. The difference is the number of channels you can connect: up to 2 on the Free and Essential plans, and up to 3 on the Pro plan.
What are Active Contacts?
Active Contacts are the people you interact with during a billing period through automations or DMs, regardless of how many messages are exchanged. Every plan has a monthly Active Contact limit, even on a yearly subscription.
What happens when I reach my Active Contact limit?
Your Active Contact count resets on your billing date each month, including on yearly subscriptions. Once you reach the limit, automations stop working for any new contacts above it — but continue working normally for all contacts within the limit.
For example, on the Essential plan with a 250 Active Contact limit: once you hit 250, automations will not trigger for contact 251 and above, but will continue running for contacts 1–250 for the rest of the billing period.
If you're hitting the limit regularly, consider upgrading to a higher plan or switching to a web subscription for more flexibility.
⚠️ Due to mobile platform policies, contact averaging is not available on mobile subscriptions.
Why is the price different on mobile vs. the web?
Prices on the mobile app may differ from web prices due to platform-specific pricing rules and regional taxes. For iOS, the final price is determined by Apple based on your location. For Android, the final price is determined by Google based on your location.
