Whether you’re new to Manychat or coming back after a break, here’s how to activate a 14-day free trial or renew your Pro plan.
| ⚠️ Note: Plan management is only available on desktop, and not in the mobile app. |
Starting with a free Pro plan trial
If you’re just getting started, you can explore all Pro features free for 14 days. This includes the ability to collect email addresses, connect your ads to a flow, and more! You can read more about it in this article.
- In your account, click Activate Pro Trial from the banner you see in the workspace.
- Alternatively, go to Settings, switch to the Billing tab, and click the Activate Pro Trial button.
- The Marketing Automation plan is automatically added to your trial. It enables you to build automations and engage with your customers, such as automatically responding to comments on your Instagram posts.
- Additionally, you can add other products, such as the Manychat AI add-on or Manychat Inbox. Keep in mind that the Manychat AI add-on is not included in the free trial. If you add it at this step and proceed, you will be billed immediately without the option to start with the free trial.
- If you have a coupon, enter it before continuing.
- Click Start Pro for Free and complete the process by entering your billing information and clicking Save card.
👉 Once your 14 days are over, your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel.
How to renew your subscription
If you previously had a Pro plan but your account is now on the Free plan:
- In your account, click Renew Subscription from the banner you see in the workspace.
- Alternatively, go to Settings, switch to the Billing tab, and click the Renew Subscription button.
- Add optional products (AI add-on, Manychat Inbox), then click Subscribe.
- Enter your billing information and click Save card to complete the process.
Upgrading issues? Here’s how to fix them
Error: You have insufficient rights to manage page billing. Please reach out to one of the page administrators
If you click Renew Subscription and see the message “You have insufficient rights to manage page billing. Please reach out to one of the page administrators”, it means you don’t have permission to manage billing for the account. In this case, you also won’t see the Billing tab in your settings.
To fix this, ask the account Owner or an Admin to give you billing access.
They can do this by going to Settings, switching to the Team Members tab, clicking Edit next to your name, and switching on the Has permissions toggle in the Billing section.
If you have trouble upgrading, start by checking this troubleshooting guide. If the issue continues, contact Manychat Support for help.
